Vehicle History:
This car was discovered in a warehouse down in Jacksonville, Texas in 1999.  As the story goes, an employee of a Chrysler dealership took one car from each model year and stashed it away.  I was told he had Mopars ranging from 1948 to 1962 in his collection.  This 1958 Belvedere was one of those cars.  Eventually the owner died and his secret hoard of cars was inherited and auctioned off.  In late 2000 a local used car dealer in Richmond, BC got his hands on the Belvedere.  Sometime in March or April 2001, my brother was driving around the city when he spotted this car on the road.  He followed it and was shocked to see that the driver was none other than Ron Hudson, a local used car dealer whom he had conversed with before at our local dragstrip.  A few days later my brother told me about the car, but due to circumstances at that time we were unable to get down to the dealership in time before it was sold.

In July of 2001 I was able to contact the owner and put in an offer for the car.  Unfortunately the owner declined and I tried to forget about the car.

>> Fast forward to 2006 >>  I was fortunate enough to meet some of the nicest friends a Forward Look enthusiast could ever know who happened to live near the owner of this car and had seen it parked outside his house for the last two years!  They pointed me in the direction of his house and one weekend in April 2006 I payed the owner a visit.  He agreed to sell the car to me and two weeks later my good friends helped trailer it to it's new home in my cozy garage.

Thanks D&D...I wouldn't have this car without your help!  You're the kindest friends a car nut like me could ever have!  I'll never forget what you did for me.  Thanks to my mom and my brother for all their support and help.  You all made it possible for me to finally get my dream car!
