Vehicle History:
This car was originally ordered by a wealthy land owner in Oklahoma for his wife who had failing health. He wanted her time remaining here to be as comfortable as possible, so when the car was ordered, he had every option available to him added to the car straight from the factory. The car is complete with power steering, power brakes, ac, electric windows, electric seat, auto, radio, front and rear speaker with fader, rear defrost, front and rear light package, dual twin strut mirrors, and SportTone trim. 3 months after giving his wife the car, she passed away, and from there, the car was only driven to the feed store and back (this was verifyed by the amount of feed bags still in the trunk!) The car was parked somewhere in the mid 60's and although in great condition and a running vehicle, he left it parked. In the early 90's, the old man passed away and his estate was auctioned off. A man in Arlington, Texas bought the car along with all the other vehicles the man had. He was planning on restoring the car, but decided aginst it, since he knows nothing about MoPar's at all. That was when I aquired the vehicle. 1998, summer, and hotter than blue blazes, I brought the Belvy home. Once home, I began assessing what was needed and where to start. After only 2 hours of tinkering around in the engine compartment, the engine roared to life and has been running ever since. Currently, the car is having the small rust area repaired and will hopefully be finished by the end of the summer 2001.
