Vehicle History:
I've owned this car since 1988,she was an addition to my high school car which was also a 57 Savoy.I bought in Kentucky, out of a barn while I was at college in Nashville TN.I didn't need it at the time but it was a rust free running car and even then, back when nobody liked 57-58 Plymouths(except a few of us scattered around the country)they were hard to find.My car I had already owned was a V8 with a powerflite I had gotten with 23,000 rust free miles, well I learned the hard way about how these cars rust,by the time i went to school down there I had put upwards of 80,000 on her and rust free was only a memory. This car was a six with a three on the tree, solid but faded and ugly looking. It was also the slowest thing i had ever driven.I decided to do the V8 car as a custom and this car stock. The V8 car ended up red with flames,a red and white interior, flame thrower exhaust, louvered hood,50's torque thrust wheels, nosed, decked, ect.(all of this customizing was in the late 80's-early 90's).This car(the 6 cyl.)I ended up painting Meadow green with a white 2-tone,put new carpets and redid the seats in a close to original black and white vinyl,I even bought bias ply wide whites for it!.I really never liked this car,it was too stock, too slow couldn't handle for crap with the six cyl. suspension,so it sat in a garage I rented collecting dust and mice.I loved the V8 car,she was still my daily driver and at around 168,000 miles in '93 or '94 it came time she was tired, and I made a hard decision to part my baby and use the green carsa body.(actually I was going to try to save my baby,my friend Scott talked me into reality). These cars were put in the garage side by side and 2 1/2 years later the beast you see in the pictures emerged.
