I found the car in 1997, in Golden, Colorado, across the river from the Coors Brewery. It sat on an empty lot next to a barn and a fenced in yard full of 30's fords. After chasing down the owner, I found out he had parked it there to rebuild the motor in 1973 and got as far as pulling and machining, and then got distracted by other projects. I negotiated with him for 2 weeks, and he finally sold the the car. I moved to Cincinnati, OH the next day, so the car had to be moved to my friends back yard in Denver, where it sat for 3 years, while I looked for a house in Cincinnati. In Feb of this year I put it on a trailer and drove 26 hours straight to Cincinnati with my buddy Nickels. The car has every cool option except for air and power brakes, and is 100% original and complete with the exception of the lower trim on the pass. door. It has the usual rust on the fenders and rockers but that's it. This is the car I've wanted since I was in the 6 th grade, and it's 1 of 3 I've seen my whole life. I plan to restore it to original condition with the exception of changing the color to Stardust Blue.
