Vehicle History:
Bought in 1991 in New Jersey and shipped to Germany. General condition: very poor.(driver's side crashed; front fenders, floors, rockers, quarters, trunk-floor rusted out) The restauration took about 4 years with interruptions. When looking for a set of fenders in California we came across a complete '58 front-end. We bought it and decided to convert the whole car into a '58 Belvedere. On a junkyard-journey across California, Nevada and Arizona we were able to get hold of almost all the parts we needed. Some parts that we like better on the '57 (e.g. the hubcaps) were not changed. Last year I finally found a set of bumperwings in CA. Not expensive and one for the front even NOS in the original box!
